My name is Megan Edwards. I am from Salisbury, Missouri. I grew up on my family’s farm where we raised cattle, soybeans and corn. My love for agriculture has been carried down through three generations of farmers to me. Throughout my high school years, I was active in FFA, FBLA, Drama Club, Student Council, Science Club, Band, Yearbook and NHS. I was never not busy during those four years! My passion for agriculture led me to major in Agricultural Education, Communication, and Leadership at the University of Missouri. This degree will leave me with two career options: getting my teaching certificate and teaching agricultural education or marketing for an agricultural business. Either way, I’ll be doing what I love most: working for agriculture. I’m excited to see what this year will bring and use my voice to write for the CAFNR Corner Post!
