Author: Emily Koch

Hello everyone! My name is Emily Koch and I am curently a freshman at the University of Missouri. My passion for advocationg for agriculture began in a small town by the name of Belle, Missouri. It is a town not easily found on a map, but once located it is hard to forget. This small town showed me how important agriculture is to our everyday lives, and my agriculture teachers taught me how to put that knowledge to words. They hauled me around the state of Missouri to gain knowledge in different areas of agriculture that I had never experienced before. With this my passion for the agriculture industry grew into a career. My goal after graduating from Mizzou is to take my degree of agricultural education and use it to build passion and understanding in the minds of others, just as my own agriculture educators did for me.
