Author: Elise Bailey

I am Elise Bailey, a junior at the University of Missouri, majoring in Agriculture with a minor in Agricultural Communications. I was raised on my family’s cow-calf operation in Curryville, Missouri. This is the place that sparked my passion for agriculture and an appreciation for the people who put food on our tables, fuel in our cars, and clothes on our backs. In my spare time, you will catch me making the trek home to the farm as frequently as possible, spending time with my yellow lab, Baxter, or investing time in my business, Bailey’s Brand. After graduation, I plan to hit the ground running as an eager advocate for agriculture. I hope to play a role in bridging the gap between producers and consumers and be directly involved in production agriculture. I am excited to begin writing for CAFNR Corner Post to shed light on the hardworking men and women in the industry and the hardships of working in American agriculture.
