Author: Derrek Hardy

My name is Derrek Hardy and I am a senior at the University of Missouri studying agricultural education and leadership, and hospitality management. I am from the small town of Browning, Missouri, where I grew up on a Grade A dairy farm that my family owns and operates. My family has been involved in the agriculture industry for over 100 years, and we have been dairy farming in Missouri since the 1970s. I am a Facility Lead at MizzouRec, serve as a Tour Team member, and am on the Alumni Association Student Board (AASB). I have also served as a Summer Welcome Leader and on the Homecoming Steering Committee. Being involved on campus will allow me to bring a well-rounded approach to writing stories. I am looking forward to an exciting semester writing for the CAFNR Corner Post!
