Hi, my name is Aimie Brendel. This is my first semester at the University of Missouri, and I am excited to be joining the CAFNR Corner Post team. I recently transferred here to join the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources in pursuit of earning a Bachelor’s in Agriculture. My emphasis areas include Agribusiness, Communications and Hospitality Management. My overall career goal is to help agriculture companies spread the word to consumers through marketing and advertising. I became interested in creating ads and marketing techniques through working at my godparent’s meat processing facility. I was able to try my hand at different aspects of connecting with the public through platforms, and I am forever thankful they trusted me with their business’ brand. In the fall, you can catch me in my deer stand. Since the age of 12, I have been an avid hunter and have harvested many whitetail deer, turkeys, and even a few black bears. Other than being bear bait, you can find me outside gardening, spending time with family, or out in the pasture visiting my boyfriend’s cows. I am super pumped to see what this fall brings while being a part of the Corner Post team. I can’t wait to share with you all of the stories I encounter this semester!
