Imagine Dragons take flight at Homecoming Spirit Rally

Following the campus decorations event in MU’s Greek Town, rock out in front of the Student Center with nationally recognized Indie band, Imagine Dragons. The Alumni Association decided to kick off Homecoming with a different kind of spirit rally and reunite Tigers of all ages with a festive musical event.

In September, Imagine Dragons was announced as number two on the Billboard Top 200 chart with their debut album Night Vision. The band will be performing their first single “It’s Time,” which has become highly recognized and is now launching on Top 40 radio. The song was also featured in a September Glee episode and the trailer for the new film The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

The band had never traveled to mid-Missouri, but is excited to visit before they leave for their first European tour. As a Las Vegas-based band, the members of Imagines Dragons say they love to get out and see the places they are touring despite a busy schedule.

This concert is free and will begin around 9:30 p.m. on Rollins Street.
