CAFNR
Student Council officers announced

The
2006-2007 student council officers have been elected and announced.
The president is Ashley Noblitt and vice president is Jacob
Adams. Serving as the treasurer is Phillip Boydston and Lindsay
Grotjan received the secretary position. Sarah Shaw is public
relations and the MSA representatives are Whitney Wolfe and
Jessica Bartz.
“Serving as CAFNR student council president is truly
a great honor,” Noblitt said. As the president, she
will be in charge of over seeing the organization as a whole
and see how the college can serve its students better.
“I have had many great experiences in CAFNR and I am
hoping to make sure that others have great experiences as
well.” She says MU is the best ag school in the state
and she will strive to make everyone proud they are a student
in CAFNR.
Other officers are also looking forward to their new titles.
“I am very excited to be the MSA representative and
ready to take an active role in the college to take the needs
of the students to MSA,” Bartz said.
Everyone who was elected into a student council as a major
or class representative had the opportunity to run for an
executive office. To apply for an office, the student had
to fill out an application and participate in an interview.
