Hello and welcome to CAFNR Corner Post – a Web site produced by and targeted toward students of the University of Missouri College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources. My name is Sara Muri, and I am serving as managing editor for Corner Post. I was raised on a family farm in Jamestown, Mo., and I am beginning my final year at MU majoring in agricultural journalism with a minor in agricultural economics. So in between taking classes, working and trying to find a job, I’ll be guiding and directing this year’s batch of Corner Post reporters. We, the Corner Post staff, along with all other students at MU, are just getting started this semester. Around 20 reporters strong, you will see us out and about covering all events and stories that would interest a CAFNR student. Our Web site has a brand-new look this fall, and we are anxious to fill it full of stories, photos and podcasts. Yes, for the first time, you will not only be able to read stories and view photos, you also can listen. While it may take us a few weeks to get rolling, you can be sure to find quality stories, photos and audio on our site. Mark us as a favorite, and enjoy! Best wishes, |
