CAFNR Staff Council gives back to community

On Friday, Dec. 9, CAFNR Staff Council will complete their winter clothing drive. Council representatives have been collecting adult items to be donated to the local Phoenix Program and McCambridge Center.
This is the first year the council has participated in this program, which benefits people receiving treatment and education through the Phoenix Program and McCambridge Center for alcoholism and drug abuse.
"We have taken on a new look for Staff Council and have decided to try and give back to the community to help other people," Jean Miller, Staff Council representative said.
Items that the council is collecting include socks, scarves, stocking caps, gloves, new or gently worn coats and cash donations.
The items may be dropped off at any Staff Council member's office through Friday.
