CAFNR Student Council election results

On Wednesday, Nov. 30, CAFNR Student Council had its first meeting with the newly elected members. Members of Student Council and other CAFNR organizations worked together to wrap the gifts they collected for the Adopt-A-Family project.
Elections were held Nov. 14-16 with representatives being selected from each class as well as each major. Freshmen representatives include Zach Kinne, Miranda Leppin, Taryn Dameron and Gentrie Shafer. Representing the sophomore class are Jacob Adams, Joseph Northcutt, Sarah Shaw and Allyssa Berry. Junior class representatives are Megan Fox, Mariah Yates, Ashley Mitchell and Katie Bishop. Representing the senior class are Maranda Taylor, Whitney Wiegel and Thomas Coleman.
“I would like to serve as a voice for the student body by providing a connection between the students and the college,” freshman representative and agricultural economics major, Zach Kinne said.
Major representatives include freshman Whitney Wolfe for agribusiness management; sophomore Ashley Noblitt for agricultural education; freshman Sarah Jackson for agricultural journalism; junior Chris Nation for agricultural systems management; sophomore Phillip Boydston for animal science; junior Ashley Rust for fisheries and wildlife; sophomore Andrew Bachmann for general agriculture; sophomore Brianna Schuster for hotel and restaurant management; sophomore Christina Tew for parks, recreation and tourism; sophomore Ashley Schlichmayer for plant sciences; freshman Tyler Alderson for biochemistry and freshman Natalie Rada for soil environment and atmospheric sciences.
