Desert and jungle all under one roof in the Tucker Greenhouse

Tucker Greenhouse has been a part of the University of Missouri campus since 1975 and is open to the public. The greenhouse has a wide variety of plants located in differently themed rooms. Some of these rooms include a desert and tropical rainforest room. Many faculty at Mizzou use the greenhouse as a teaching space, including Botany and Plant Systematics. Barb Sonderman, Tucker Greenhouse manager, encourages students to come learn about plants or just relax in the calming atmosphere the greenhouse and its many plants have to offer.
