Campus ice cream shop does more than just provide tasty scoops

Buck’s Ice Cream Place is the home of Mizzou’s tasty tradition – Tiger Stripe Ice Cream. Founded in 1989, Buck’s was created to provide integrated research, teaching and a service-oriented laboratory where food science students learn everything about ice cream from maintenance and inventory to manufacturing and retail.

Student employees produce over 15 different flavors of ice cream, including holiday flavors, and sell them to the public throughout the year.

Buck’s is located within the University of Missouri campus, on the south side of Eckles Hall.
