are: Selections were based on an application, resume and interview process. Interviews were held February 16-18. 31 students (21 females and 10 males) applied for 10 available slots. There were no applicants from the School of Natural Resources. So what does an Ambassador do? An Ambassador is responsible for recruiting students to become a part of the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources. The Ambassador team is a representation of CAFNR as a whole. Ambassadors must be able to inform parents, teachers, and administrators of CAFNR's benefits. Ambassadors' roles include being an educator, a communicator, a salesperson, and a role model. Ambassadors' are required to travel throughout the state and sometimes beyond Missouri to inform prospective students of the opportunities the college has to offer. They are asked to participate in high school presentations, phone sessions, one-on-one conversations, and postcard writings. Congratulations to the new
2004 Ambassador team!
