Executive-in-Residence
to visit CAFNR students
By Meghan Stewart,
Corner Post staff
The Robert O. Reich Family Executive-in-Residence Program
is bringing Vice President and Group Executive of Anheuser-Busch Packaging
Group Lise Herren to the University of Missouri-Columbia on April 5-6.
The Executive-in-Residence Program was started by the Reich family to give the
College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resource students a chance to meet with
executives from the agricultural field. This opportunity gives students a chance
to meet with these people one-on-one to give them more of an understanding of
the opportunities that await them in the future.
Herren is the 24th Robert O. Reich Family Executive-in-Residence for MU. She
will meet with students throughout her two days here in the classroom and at
receptions.
On Tuesday Herren
will be meeting with agricultural economics undergraduates, graduate
students and faculty at the Don Rey Media Room in the Reynolds Alumni
Center from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. From there she will go to the classrooms
starting
with Team and Organizational Leadership taught by Dr. Bobby Torres, then Agriculture
Marketing & Procurement taught by Dr. Joe Parcell, and finally finish with
Women’s Leadership taught by Dr. Mary Ann Gowdy.
On Wednesday she starts the day with a roundtable discussion with CAFNR students
and Stephanie Chipman from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. She will then have lunch with
Plant Science Graduate Students at the Heidelberg before she finishes her trip
to MU with an Advisory Board Reception.
