National FFA Organization
Presents Award to CAFNR On Oct. 28, 2004, the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources was honored by the National FFA Organization for 25 years of support to the FFA National Agricultural Career Show. Each year the National FFA Organization hosts the Agricultural Career Show to highlight career opportunities for agricultural students. For 25 years now, CAFNR has been one of the 340 participating exhibitors in the career show that greet over 51,000 FFA members, advisors, parents, and guests. The exhibit allows CAFNR faculty and students to meet with potential students from across the nation. “Many exhibitors receive a five, ten, or fifteen year recognition, however as the 25 year award is presented, the list begins to dwindle” said CeCe Leslie, Director of Student Recruitment at CAFNR. She said 25 years is an honor to earn as an exhibitor. It truly shows CAFNR’s dedication to informing and recruiting outstanding students nationwide. Accepting the award on behalf of CARNR were Agricultural Education
professors, Rob Terry, Bobby Torres and Bryan Garton.
