MU Ag Alumni Association sponsored a successful golf scramble that took place on Sept. 17.

The Tiger Ag Classic has contributed money to the scholarship funds in CAFNR for 14 years. Over $15,000 was raised for the cause this year.

“We set a record in terms of funding,” said Dana Brown-Haynes, director of Alumni Relations.

The event consisted not only of the golf tournament but a silent auction and steak fry.

“It was a wonderful event that alumni, students, and anyone associated with the university could participate in to help raise money for scholarships in CAFNR,” said Bob Idel, chairman of the tournament.

The winning team consisted of Mike Miller, Brad Voelker, Brad Graup, and Dewayne Davis. Paul Vaughn, Mike Nelson, Linda Sowers, and Mike Rooney were on CAFNR's team and finished second.
