CAFNR students
offered interviews through Career Services Office College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources remains in full swing this fall as Ag Week comes to a close and company interviews for full-time and internship positions begin. The Career Services Office works as a facilitator to bring employers and students together on campus. Sign-up sheets for interviews and descriptions of available positions are posted three weeks before the interview date in the Career Services Office (2-64 Agriculture Building). The office allows students two weeks to sign-up for a particular interview. In order to interview, a student must meet the job qualifications listed in the company’s descriptions. Then the students sign up on the sign-up sheet and submit a resume for each interview they signed up for. The resumes are then sent to the recruiters one week before the scheduled interview. “It doesn’t get any easier for a student than interviewing on campus,” CAFNR project director Dana Brown said. “All they (students) have to do is meet the company’s criteria, bring a resume by the Career Services Office, sign-up for an interview and then show on the appropriate day and time.” Students should know that they may not cancel an interview after it has been
scheduled with the company.
