“Share the Legacy” at
the MU Homecoming Blood Drive
The Homecoming Blood Drive, hosted by MU and the American Red Cross, is one of the largest blood drives in the world. The donations benefit patients around the Columbia area and beyond. According to the American Red Cross, every two seconds, someone in the world needs blood. By making one donation a person can save three lives. Jessie Logan, a freshman who has donated blood once before, is going to donate at the Homecoming Blood Drive this year “to help the people that are in need.” People who wish to donate, but are not MU students are encouraged to sign up online at www.donateblood.com/Community.asp. Questions or comments about the Homecoming Blood Drive should be e-mailed to umchomecomingblooddr@missouri.edu.
