Ag Week: Thursday & Friday Preview
Allyssa Berry, Corner Post Staff

Thursday
Thursday will be highlighted with the stick-horse rodeo, which will be held in Trowbridge at 7 p.m. In this activity, four member teams, representing various CAFNR clubs, will compete in four events to determine a winner for the night and the all around spirit award. These events include a hay bale toss, a wheel barrow race, an apple cider chugging contest and the stick horse race.

The stick horse race will involve an obstacle course on a “stick horse” that will eventually include all of the team members racing on a single stick. The apple cider chugging contest will be the last event of the evening and will be done in a relay style race.

Friday
Friday is Spirit Day! Wear your Ag Week t-shirt to show your CAFNR pride!

Friday will be the highlight of the Barnwarming candidates’ week as the King and Queen will be crowned at the dance. The college’s 100th Barnwarming will kick off at Trowbridge with a BBQ from 7-9 p.m. The dance will begin at 9 p.m. and last until 1 a.m. All students attending must ride the bus to and from the event. Tickets for Barnwarming are still on sale for $8.
